Saving Mozart

Mozart's city is becoming the cultural capital of the Third Reich. Otto Steiner ekes out his days in a Salzburg Sanatorium while, outside in the real world, history  is being  written. For Otto  who  is Austrian, Jewish (a bit), alone (completely), all that mat­ters to him now is music. Tuberculosis eats away at him as much as the petty humiliations of being ill. He is being pushed to  the edge. lt's  a dissonant world grating on his musician's ear. He wonders if humanity is heading for the final fall. Wonders if in the end, there  be noth­ing worth saving, except Mozart?
